- A locking nut and spring collet are used to secure the cutting tool(s) in place. Tool changes typically require a set of wrenches and a few minutes of your time.
- The most popular collet type is ER but designs exist for others as well. Keyed shafts according to your specifications are also a possibility.
- Power ratings range from 0.3 HP (0.2 kW) to 18 HP (13.5 kW) with speeds up to 60,000 RPM. Bearings are permanently sealed and greased so maintenance is minimal
